Keeping children and young people safe online
The internet and in particular the World Wide Web provides enormous opportunities to engage and support both learners and teachers. However, the internet is not owned by anyone and there are very few restrictions on who can post information or on what they can post.
Clackmannanshire Council has produced an extensive guide to safe surfing. It provides guidance on how to deal with some of the issues commonly encountered in schools as well as links to sites which provide resources for teachers, pupils and parents.
